Enamel reactor for coating requirements

- Dec 11, 2022-

Enamel reactor life is relatively long, which is in our choice of materials at the right time. However, if the substandard coating is used in our reactor equipment, its service life may be affected. So what are the requirements for a coating? Now let's find out.

1. The coating (lining) of enamel reactor should have good adhesion.

2. When used in combination with cathodic protection, the coating (lining) layer shall have excellent electrical insulation and cathodic peel resistance.

3. The coating (lining) layer should have excellent anti-permeability to ensure that the film has enough thickness (the general thickness is 250-300mm) , can effectively prevent the corrosion medium from penetrating to the enamel reactor substrate surface.

Four. The coating (lining) layer shall have excellent water resistance, oil resistance and temperature resistance. To consider the anti-static performance of the internal anti-corrosion coating, will not pollute the enamel reactor, will not cause enamel reactor deterioration.

Rust removing paint for enamel reactor

1, sand blasting rust should be removed paint, grease, oxides and so on. The surface of the enamel reactor shall be approved and recorded by the relevant personnel before being embalmed and painted.

2. Mix the primer well before painting and use cotton yarns or Compressed air to remove dust and moisture from the surface. The first primer is to be applied to the enamel reactor for rust removal on the same day. Before the first primer is dry, do not brush the second primer, the primer on the surface of the pipeline should be uniform and leak-free.

3. Before sand blasting rust removal, check the ovality of all equipment, wall thickness, material is in line with the material specifications, or not to use.

Four. The rust removal and painting of the enamel reactor shall be carried out in accordance with the drawings and specifications.
